Yes, that’s right, Concerts for a Cause is proud to announce its Toronto Kick Off Show featuring Sadie May Crash, The Miles, and Howl.  The show is at the El Mocambo at Spadina and College, a venue that has hosted the likes of Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones. What’s more? The show is only $5 - pretty sweet deal, eh?

Freakin Amazing Concert + Cause = Concerts for a Cause

Concerts for a Cause is a revolutionary concept making its mark on the Toronto Music Scene: a non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to organizing shows for charity.

CFAC is made up of promoters, artists, and charity advocates using music to promote change. A inherent part of any charity is fundraising; unfortunately, all too often, fundraisers that sound brilliant in theory - particularly benefit concerts - fail because of poor budgeting, lousy attendance, and additional logistical difficulties.

CFAC believes benefit concerts are ideal fundraising opportunities. Not only do they raise capital for charities, but they also promote awareness and help out local artists. Through specialization and expertise, CFC is able to efficiently produce and promote shows, allowing charities to focus on their main charitable objectives.

So the question becomes: what do we want you to do? The answer: come to our shows. We don’t want to drown you in charitable flyers from advocacy groups. We don’t want to accost you on the street for money or spare change when you are already late for work or class. We just want you to show up, have a good time, and leave knowing that you’ve supported a great charity.

So - help us out and join this facebook group to stay informed about the amazing shows we are organizing in the future.
