Concerts for a Cause is a revolutionary concept making its mark on the Toronto Music Scene: an non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to organizing shows for charity.

CFC is made up of promoters, artists, and charitable do-gooders trying to make a difference in different way. Part of being charity is organizing fundraisers to support your organization. Unfortunately, all too often, fundraisers that sound like a brilliant idea in theory (cough cough: bennefit concerts) end up being a failure because of poor budgeting, lousy attendance, and about a hundred other things that are bound to go wrong.

CFC fundamentally believes bennefit concerts are one of the best charitable fundraisers around. Not only do they raise capital for charities, but they also promote awareness and help out local artists. Through specialization and expertise, CFC is able to efficiently produce and promote shows, avoiding common pitfalls and allowing charities to put more focus on their main charitable objectives.

Pretty brilliant initiative, eh?

So the question becomes: what do we want you to do??? The answer: Come to our shows. We don’t want to drown you in charitable flyers from advocacy groups. We don’t want to accost you on the street for money or spare change when you are already late for work or class? We just want you to show up, have a good time, and leave knowing that you’ve just supported a great charity.
